Public transport in Brussels

STIB, Société des Transports intercommunaux bruxellois, organises the majority of public transport in the Brussels-Capital Region.

The network offers metro lines, linking the city’s eastern and western districts. Pre-metro lines (tunnel trams) complete the metro.

Many lines are also served on the surface by trams and buses. Consult the schedules on the STIB website.

Where to buy transport tickets?
