“Recently separated from my partner, I had to find temporary accommodation while I turned around. Not an easy situation, I needed a studio or apartment furnished quickly.

A friend of mine told me about Bed&Brussels. I surfed on their site, I found several accommodations that I liked in my budget. I called the agency. We stopped at a studio/colocation in St Gilles. I stayed in my neighborhood. I didn’t have to buy anything to move in, I didn’t have to take any steps to open meters (water, gas, internet,…)… And I could look for a longer-term solution without rushing.

The formula was fine with me. I had a very private space (bedroom, bathroom and living room) on the 2nd floor of a very beautiful private house. And I shared a large kitchen with two other tenants. This allowed me to spend some nice moments with them.

I invite you to stroll around this magnificent town, look up to discover the Art Nouveau style houses, stop at one or the other terrace and if you are a fan of sunny terraces, visit the square of the new Parvis de Saint-Gilles, which has become entirely pedestrian. Without missing the daily market and its old cinema and its people’s house.

ST Gilles is a large and diversified municipality both in terms of population and activities.

If you are looking for a gift idea, push the door of the “Comptoir belge” on rue Jean Volders which is full of Belgian products for both taste buds and body care.
